Public Art

This picture is about a 360 Degree Room of All Colours turns color into music.
The circular space changes its pastel colors in slow repetition.

Really a great idea!
> It's all about psychological power of color!!

Concept store

The design of Miu Miu stores is a true mirror of the brand’s values and conveys a unique sense of movement and lightness.
A conceptual play created by contrasts and “improper” and unusual combinations of materials.
The walls and ceilings are initially covered with preciousgolden silk damask that can change and renew itself.
A fascinating setting of lights, mirrors and precious fabrics creating an enveloping atmosphere.

FW 2006

Theme:
-provocation
-To make Miu Miu more special and important
-There was a youthful innocence to the models' white eyelashes and their lampshade skirts.

*color theories: complimentary (viewing the whole collection), Diad/Analogous color combination (viewing every single pieces e.g. Red & Orange, green & yellow)
*choosing adjacent colors to increase variety and activeness

SS 2006

Theme:
-The cartoony ideas
-irregular starbursts popping randomly across little A-line dresses in lemon or pink,
-playfully applied to the high-heel platform shoes.

*color theories: monochromatic e.g. pale-pink and pink,
*analogous colors: pink & orange
*Pale-colors (low value & low intensity) came back!
*Little color contrast because of satuation constant

FW 2005

Theme:
early-sixties clothes

-A dynamic and feminine collection
-with predominantly warm and natural colors that are livened up by the skillful use of tortoiseshell in different colors

*color theories: Analgous color combination e.g. Red & purple
*bright color contrasts to dull color e.g. Dark purple VS orange-yellow

SS 2005

Theme:
-Ought to stand in relation to its older, more intellectual sister collection.
-early seventies geometric prints—either the brown and beige patterns typical of English charity
-shop coffee sets, or Marimekko-style florals in purple, blue, and red.

*Color theories: double complimentary e.g. yellow & purple and orange & blue
*Color range alternates between the tortoiseshell and the super vibrant shades of forest green/jade, cherry/pink/lilac or purple/tangerine/crystal.
*High intensity colors are used which are quite diffrent from the previous collections

Film: White Sound, The (weisse Rauschen, Das)

Germany released

This film is about a man(Lukas) who is tired of getting her schizophrenic brother out of serious trouble. But Lukas unwaveringly follows his self-destructive way of living. He is obsessed with the thought that the whole world is against him

The White Sound deals sensitively with the effects of schizophrenia without presenting a "thesis play".

Although the main characters have to fight serious problems, they do not despair.

They take on the challenge, developing tricks to succeed and get through life.
After watching this film, my mind about the color "white" is changed. Before, I think white is kind of pure and peaceful. But "the White Sound" actually means the white noice, meaning that white can be so annoying. The contrast created is interesting and inspiring.

FW 2004

Theme:
-presented a what-do-I-do-challenge
-99% of this collection was totally liveable, mixable fashion—testament to Miuccia Prada's commercial intelligence as well as her storied talent.
-crinkled lining-silk dresses looked irresistible

*color theories: Split complements e.g. brown, blue and purple, complimentary e.g. green-blue coat with purple-red belt, monochromatic e.g. dark purple, medium purple and light purple
*all are low intensity pastel colors> harmonious
